The Get to Know Me Tag

The-Get-To-Know-Me-Tag-blog-banner

Greetings and Salutations!

I am back!

And why not start off the school year with a tag!  Infinitely better than having to say three interesting facts about yourself to the class.  (My go-to is that I’ve never drunk coffee.  That normally angers or confuses people.)

Rules:

  • Link back to the person who created the tag ( Savannah)
  • Thank the person who tagged you (thanks, Catwing!)
  • Share the tag graphic *see above…*
  • Tag eleven bloggers (Welllll… maybe not….)

First publication: I got a story published on Kingdom Pen a while back?
Conferences: I haven’t gone to any yet *sobs*

Query/pitch: I haven’t queried or pitched before.

~Favorites~

Novel (that you wrote): Black Moon Academy Info about that book here

Genre: Fantasy, Dystopian, Some Contemporary

Author: C.S. Lewis because the Narnia books were my childhood, and J.R.R. Tolkien because I give him credit for inspiring me to write my own stories.

Writing music: Chronos music: listen here

Time to write: Evenings. And the occasional Monday morning.

Writing snack/drink: If I’m going to eat while writing, chips. But I usually can’t multitask while writing.

Movie: Inception.  Just. Go. Watch. It.

Writing memory: Forcing all of my friends to do this fanfiction Tinkerbell story.  I would say what would happen in the next scene, then everyone would act it out.

Childhood book: The Magician’s Nephew, C. S. Lewis.  This was my favorite Narnia as a kid because of all the magic and other worlds.  Now my favorite is The Silver Chair.

Indie or traditional: Traditional, I think.
Wildest goal: Get fanart from someone I don’t know who has read my books.

Tagging:

Um, anyone who has read a book.  (That means all of you.  I’m watching you. *disappears into the shadows*)

This was supposed to go out Wednesday… *head bangs* but I was drowning in literal stacks of homework.

So you get it Saturday, my freeeeeeeeee day.

I hope you all get nice weather soon.

  1. Ah, C.S. Lewis and Tolkien are my favorite authors too! I grew up on Narnia and Middle Earth and now I am unbelievably spoiled. It’s wonderful.
Meet the Robinsons??? What do you mean “It was,, interesting”??? Okay, so maybe it’s a little out there, but it’s one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. 🙂
    Great post!

    • It was very strange. I hadn’t heard anything about the movie when I started, so everything was a rollercoaster. There were so many characters, devices, t-rexs… I was unprepared to the sheer amount of visual content I was bombarded with. And that twist at the end kind of bothered me… It just felt very wrong? I don’t know. It was strange, lol 😛
