This title is going to become irrelevant in a few months but oh well.
I’ve been doing a thing call the One Year Adventure Novel–which I reviewed here a little while ago. I didn’t talk about the story I’m using for it though. I like reading other people’s story ideas.
BLACK MOON ACADEMY- ACADEMY FOR THE VILLAINOUSLY INCLINED
Sometimes the villain doesn’t want to be the villain. In a world where students can go to schools to become heroes and villains, Scarlet finds herself destined to be a villain, like her mother and generations before her. Only, Scarlet isn’t a villain. Sometimes, the greatest motivator isn’t greed, lost love or power thirst. Sometimes, the greatest motivator is the freedom to be good. But war between the schools is imminent, and Scarlet has to make her choice between family and fate, and a school where she’s never belonged. Continue reading
I realized that after all these goal related posts, that I haven’t really talked about my own goals, completed or in progress. (Or somewhere floating around in the galaxy…)
If you missed the whole motivation saga, you can read them now. (The Best Websites for Keeping Writing Goals +Camp NaNo, What to do When Lacking Motivation to Write, Why We Write)

Hello there, let’s start with this little thing that I found on my computer. Computers are full of surprises. Things can get buried, and then they appear, and you’re like: “When did I ever make that?” Happens to me all the time.
No one has ever explored the bottoms of the sea. Mankind has opted to explore the depths of space. It seems suspicious that we’ll explore the place so big that we call it “Space,” but we haven’t even seen all of our planet.
Well, they tried. It just went unrecorded. The mission was never noted anywhere, any evidence was destroyed.
Did that catch your attention? 😛 That came from a prompt I found somewhere, some time long ago. Feel free to finish it, as I probably won’t get around to it for a while. Onto the fresh, new prompts! (And this time, they sorta are castle-y) Continue reading
So, I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that dragons are getting a little overused. You know? Every fantasy book has to have a dragon. When did that become a thing? Just because The Hobbit has the best dragon ever doesn’t mean everyone else has to copy…
I’m guilty too. Dragons are just plain cool. But, there are other cool creatures out there too. So, a small list of lesser appreciated creatures. Continue reading
It’s been a while, but here we go again! This time I decided to go slightly zany. Then again, most everything is a little zany around here, so there is not much difference. 🙂 Continue reading
Happy Halloween! Here’s a post that fits the theme!
I have always been obsessed with poisonous and venomous thing. Quick explanation: If you bite it, and you die, it’s poisonous. If it bites you, and you die, it’s venomous. Venom must be injected through a wound. In some cases, you can swallow venom, and be okay. Poison is mostly touch delivered. (Injested, contact, etc.) Now we have all that cleared up, let us begin.
But first a story. Continue reading
Have you ever taken clean sheets out of the dryer and ran with them around the house like a cape? Superpowers are always a subject that is written about constantly, but I’m getting a little tired of the normal superpowers. Flight, strength, etc. So, you can reference this helpful list to see what else you can do! (gif credit: google, not sure originally) Continue reading
Has anybody ever wished they could be immortal? Continue reading
Well, looky here! It’s something new, something that you haven’t seen before! People sometimes struggle with writing original characters. To help you (and me…) I came up with the idea of character prompts. If you search, you’ll find a couple, but nothing very interesting. Continue reading
Hi! It’s the first writing prompt of all time for this site! (Of course, there are many prompts already, but these are super cool :P) Anticipate many more to come! Continue reading
